Last night, my Sunday school class all got together to eat and then we went ice-skating. Well, I had never been ice-skating before(I've lived in Georgia all my life, & even though it's offered near here around Christmas, I've never been). ...I was awful! The place was busy & crowded, and pretty much everyone except for a few little kids were all skating around really fast. I, on the other hand, was just trying to keep from falling. I tried for several minutes, but I eventually just gave up. I wasn't getting any better at it, but everyone else was getting faster. And, some announcer kept yelling stuff like "Don't stand by the wall" & "Keep your hands off the wall" -Gosh! The wall was like my life line! I was really hoping that it was going to be enjoyable, but instead I just felt like I wasted my money, which I hate doing. I guess that, unless I have someplace to practice ice-skating that isn't crowded(which isn't going to happen), it's kind of too late for me to figure out how to ice skate. It's seems like something you need to start when you're younger. I'm only 19, but everyone my age already knows how to ice-skate for the most part. Ugh! Well, at least I now know not to try ice-skating in a busy place again!

Though I wasn't good at ice-skating, it did make me want to go regular skating, which i.m.o is better anyways --I mean seriously, why would you want to skate on something as questionable & unreliable as ice, when you could skate on something sturdy & concrete, like concrete?!!
